Please Pray For Buddy

Hello. I took Buddy for a grooming appointment this afternoon and the groomer allowed Buddy to fall out of the tub after opening its door. I rushed him to the ER vet, because our regular vet across the street refused to make room for him. (Grrrr.)

He pulled an ACL in his knee and cannot walk or stand without assistance.

Please pray for his recovery.

The vet said 20% of dogs can recover, but 80% will require surgery. Because of Bud’s age, the vet would prefer not to operate.

    • Thank you. Buddy’s a bit out of sorts on his pain meds. Cries when he is having trouble walking. Very upsetting that he’s injured because someone I trusted wasn’t careful.

  2. oh Dawn, So sorry to hear of this accident. Buddy is fortunate to have your care and devotion. I hope the groomer will pay for the vet bill at least. Will pray for his healing ❤️‍🩹

    • Thank you. He needs prayers. Particularly since I need to leave him with my parents for two nights to get my schoolwork done.
